We understand how to determine the rate of reaction from the graph as well as in differential form.We study the Collision Theory which helps us in deeper understanding how any chemical reaction takes place & thus which factors influence the rate of reaction such as temperature, concentration etc. Interestingly, we study powerful tool, Maxwell Boltzmann Distribution curve to interpret the effect of temperature as well as catalyst on the rate of reaction. We understand how catalyst speeds up the reaction using fundamental concept of activation energy. We also see why typical transition metals such Vanadium, Platinum, Nickel etc are important catalysts in many industrial applications as well as role of enzymes in speeding up biochemical reactions.
